What if I’m out of town or out of state
Clients that are out of town or out of state are welcome to call or contact Texas Star Investigations. Contracts or legal forms can be e-mailed or faxed. Payment can be made by checks or major credit cards. Some investigations can be conducting without even meeting in person.
Should I have a contract when hiring a private investigator?
Yes. It protects both you and the private investigator. Both parties agree and understand on the investigations and fees before an investigation or service begins.
Are Private Investigation Companies or Private Investigators in Texas required to be licensed?
Yes, all Private Investigation Companies and Private Investigators in Texas are required to have current license and insurance. The Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau (PSB) oversees issuing licenses to all Private Investigation companies and Private Investigators that meet all their requirements and experience needed.

I’m interesting in making a purchase or bidding on an item online (Craig’s List / ebay) can I hire a private investigator to check out the item first?
Yes, Texas Star Investigations does provide this service. This is especially helpful if you are out of town or out of state. Providing information, a licensed Private Investigator will go on site and meet the seller to verify the item such as VIN or Serial Numbers and take pictures of the item and email this information back to you. This prevents being ripped off or unhappy with your purchase.
Do you offer Mobile Notary Public Service?
Texas Star Investigations offer a 24/7 Mobile Notary Public Service.
Need a document notarized, Texas Star Investigations will come to you.
